Owner, Chief Cook and Bottle Washer,
Work History:
Worked with his family heavy and highway excavation company through high school and college becoming a proficient equipment operator in heavy and highway excavation and utlity work. After service, worked as a vessel captain for performing all aspects of marine water and fisheries research.
Bob then moved on to the environmental scene where he was specialist in Marine oil and chemical spills but also spent time supervising industrial maintenance operations and as a trainer for OSHA HAZMAT, Confined space entry, as well as Oil boom deployment and spill response.
In the same field, Bob moved on to national level where large scale operations management in oil spill response and intense equipment knowledge was gained.
Upon retirement of his father from the excavation business Bob came back to the family business and supervised various projects including 3 years of work for the US Army Corps of Engineers at West Point. Bob finally settled into his own gig and started Excav Services Inc. in 2001.
From diesel engine maintenance to rock blasting, Bob has tackled most every machine that moves in most every heavy industrial application and has the experience to see things through.
Hoping to “keep things close to home” we try to perform all aspects of heavy equipment work in our region, from dredging and dredge operations support, to grading and seeding your back yard, call Excav for solutions, ideas, and a quote on your next project.
